Adult Formation News

We soon will begin a 7-week series called: "Know Your Catholic Faith", Thursdays 7:00 pm beginning Oct 2. These sessions will be a wonderful opportunity to update your faith or for adult Catholics who have never received Confirmation this may be an opportunity to prepare for the sacrament. If you care to attend or would like to know more please email or call me at: 734-981-1333 ext. 22. Or if you know someone who might benefit from these sessions I encourage you to invite them to attend.

Also. mark your calendars now for an opportunity to be better informed on the election issues. Paul Long, lobbyist for the Michigan Catholic Conference will be guest speaker here at STAB on Tuesday, Oct. 21 following the 7:00 pm Mass (approx 7:30 pm) He will present: A Call to Political Responsibility: Forming Your Conscience for Faithful Citizenship.

Hello all!
Again, thank you for your attendance yesterday. I believe we have a great group of thinking and committed people on board. I should have said last night that eventually I would like to have a chairperson other than myself and someone to take minutes (or we can rotate) but I think for the present, we should just continue as we are, until the team's formation is complete.

I have attached the minutes from the meeting.

However, you will notice that two of the definitions for the aspects of mature faith and examples of how it is fostered in the parish are not there. That is because I did not try to write them down the last few minutes of the meeting as we tried to finish up. Only the one from the group I was in is in the minutes. So, I am asking that if someone from each group can fill in the missing information I would appreciate it. Then please just hit "reply all" and send the newly revised minutes back to everyone.
